A place of calm. Anyone who appreciates the peace and quiet in our time of loudness and unrest caused by constant information violence penetrating people will find a paradise here.
I went to the Christmas market, which I really enjoyed.
I visit Geras Abbey almost every year. Interesting architecture (stately staircase with abbots' gallery, banquet hall, bishop's room). Herbalist Weidinger documentation and much more. The church and the landscape itself are also worth seeing. By the way, Geras Abbey is the only Premonstratensian canon monastery in Lower Austria.
Highly recommended trip to the monastery. The monastery can be visited without a guided tour.
Interesting and impressive, unfortunately I was only able to take a few pictures as I drove past. The surrounding area is also very worth seeing.
Wonderful Abbey. Beautiful architecture and wonderful lakes. The herb garden is very interesting as it provides a lot of information about different herbs and their health benefits. The church is outstandingly beautiful. Amazing interior …
